THANK YOU DONORS CHOOSE
Today's morning meeting focused on reflection and gratitude. Recently, many students were able to participate in the Low Ropes Challenge Field Trip. That field trip was made possible by funding from a Donors Choose Grant. The field trip was also a success because of Mr. Chrzanowski who worked hard to develop challenges and teambuilding activities. An important aspect of Baker Buddies is teaching students how things come together and why. This relates to field trips, activities, lessons, and even skills like teamwork. Showing gratitude for hard work and support is an important life skill to develop and practice. Today, we took the time to write Thank You cards to Mr. Chrzanowski and Donors Choose. The Baker Buddy advisors explained why the field trip was possible and wanted to give students a chance to show appreciation in their own words. Supplies were available and a few prompts were on the board to help get students started. We saw a lot of creativity and kindness in the designs and messages that students made.
